Each year the coaches and staff receive feedback from parents, girls, and outside coaches. Here's a sampling of the nice things they have had to say:

"I just wanted to tell you how much your coaching skills have helped me with volleyball. Last year as a freshman, i was a junior varsity starter at my school, but then i hurt my ankle and i wasn't a starter anymore. When I came onto your team, you helped me so much with all the fundamentals! I came back to tryouts this year and I had improved so much. My coach was really impressed! So impressed that she put me on VARSITY!!!"

"Thanks again for the well organized tryouts."

"I still recommend kids for PUMAS, I think you have a great club both kids and coaches."

"I really want her to play Pumas … because the coaching has always been superior at Pumas."

"I realized how much I improved from Pumas when I went to tryouts for my school and the coaches were very impressed with what I had done in the off-season, so I will absolutely be doing Pumas this year."

"I wanted to relay a very positive situation yesterday. My daughter … plays … on the 14U team. The kids did well yesterday through the pool play and had an automatic bid to the finals. My daughter had a conflict with a championship basketball game @ 3:00 and had to make a tough decision to go. [The coach] went out of his way to make her feel comfortable and not terrible about having to leave. In that situation a coach could have made a player feel bad about leaving. [The coach] chose this moment to show the kids what makes a great coach and a great person. We are lucky to have him and we look forward to a continually "Great" Season. By the way, they won the tournament."

"Thank you for everything you do. I wanted to send out a congratulations to everyone who played so well as a TEAM in Portland this past Sunday. The girls are so well coached and you have created a positive team culture— the girls are so supportive to each other—and have a desire to learn and try their best. Our kids seemed to always have a smile…..and I love the cheers for ACE!!!!"

"I thought I would let you know what a hit the warm-up suits are. According to my daughters the bottoms are the most comfortable sweats they have ever owned - and they have many."

After a gym scheduling conflict: "Thank YOU for the quick thinking and for opening your home to all of us displaced teams. Where other organizations would have thrown up their hands and said practice is cancelled, you found a way and made it happen."

"It's been amazing watching the transition from [elementary school volleyball class] to Pumas Club to Power Volleyball. This was [my daughter's] first year with Power Volleyball and my first exposure to CATZ. It was fun watching the girls get into shape--a valuable portion of the Power experience. Thanks for another great year with Pumas!"

"I also wanted to thank you both for another quality year - a very well run program that really teaches the kids the game. We're looking forward to next year."

"Just wanted to let you know that this was my daughters first year with Pumas and this is a wonderful program and she wants to tryout again next year."

"I just wanted to send a quick note to say "thank you" for a wonderful 1st Pumas season! My daughter … learned so much, made new friends, and had a great experience. The party Tuesday night was also wonderful, beautiful location, good food, and nice to see new friends again. Thank you for all your time and effort."

"You run a great organization. The organization and success of the PUMAS is a tough act to beat. In speaking with parents at various tournaments, they ask MANY questions about the PUMA teams. (how many teams?, where are you out of?, how many practices?, how many girls?, how many in each age group? and the most frequent - HOW DO YOU FIND THE GYM SPACE??). P.S. - they also comment on the fairness and quality of the work teams and the coaches monitoring the girls. [My daughter] has greatly enjoyed her 2 years of playing and has learned a great deal."

From a high school coach: "I hope [she] can play for Pumas, I think she can become a great player with work on her part. Your program has helped many girls achieve great things."

From a local camp director: "I've heard such great things about Pumas. You have done such an amazing job, especially handling the huge growth in such a short time. Thanks for all you do. People don't always appreciate it, but I know how much work it takes."

From a freshman: "I wanted to let you know that I made the JV A volleyball team at Andover High. I wanted to thank you for everything that you've done for me throughout the past three years."

"Thank You!! My daughter has just started her in-town volleyball and it's AMAZING to see the growth she has made and I owe it to the Pumas. You can definitely see the difference in the girls that played for Pumas last year then the girls who have not. It was a wonderful experience and can't wait to have her tryout again (she can't wait either)"

About tryouts: "VERY nice job last week… organized and fast paced!"

"I went to the tournament this past weekend and was VERY impressed at how well the girls played and how well they have been coached! There seems to be a great chemistry on the team and [my daughter's] play has improved since she joined the Pumas. There was some good competition but the Pumas were clearly the best coached team at the tournament and their gold medal performance was the result."

"We are extremely pleased with your program. [My daughter] is always so excited about attending practice. It's going to be a great season. I look forward to sharing with other volleyball enthusiasts about your program."

They really developed over the past few months under your guidance, and as a result were able to take home the silver medal from one of their tournaments! It was quite an accomplishment and reflects on you both as coaches. It's obvious that you both love the game and you did a great job passing that enthusiasm and your knowledge on to the girls. "You folks did a great job on Sunday and I'm sure all appreciated the effort. You are a class act."

"I wanted to let you know that [my daughter] made varsity. She was very happy with her hitting during tryouts and was very proud of herself. She felt like everything really came together for her and on the court - she put all she had learned to good use. The varsity coach… kept complementing her on her passing … and on her improved hitting. It is real nice when kids feel proud of themselves for a job well done."

"So excited for another great Pumas year! There are so many 'greats' about Pumas -- dedication factor, safety, and the quality of the coaching, gyms, and equipment."

"I have to say our best move when we got back to MA was starting with the Pumas. She has had such excellent coaching. She has really developed thanks to them. Thank you for all your efforts with the girls. I don't know where we would be as far as volleyball if it wasn't for you."

"I wanted to take a moment and thank you for a wonderful season. This was our first year with the Pumas organization and I must say that I found your club to be very well run and professional. My daughter loves to play volleyball and your staff made the entire season a pleasure. I was proud that we were a part of your family and we look forward to try outs next season. "We wanted to thank you for accepting [my daughter] into the Pumas volleyball club this year. She had a wonderful experience. The coach … was very competent and an overall nice person. She learned a lot and is looking forward to a good season … at Westborough High school. She was also asked to be a co-captain so that will be a great experience too. The Pumas club is a well run, well organized program. Thanks again for all the time you put into it to make it what it is. It was worth traveling from Westborough."

From a freshman parent: "I just wanted to let you know the good news that [my daughter] made the JV volleyball team. We are very excited and have the Pumas program to thank."

From a sophomore: "I just wanted to let you know that I made the Melrose varsity volleyball team and I am thrilled. I could not have done it without all your coaching help. We have had three games and three wins and I have been starting. Hope all is well. See you in December!"

"You were definitely one of the best coaches I could have asked for. I couldn't have learned more in one season then I did. One of the most important things that you taught me was to know where I am on the court. I also became much louder then I was the previous year. You taught not only me, but us all how to play a better game of volleyball."
